Monica's album "New Life" gets new release date

R&B singer Monica upcoming seventh studio album "New Life" is officially scheduled to be released on April 3rd according to Amazon. The previous date was set for March. Their were two buzz singles, "Anything (To Find You)" featuring Rick Ross was released in August and "Until It's Gone" was released on September, both are available for digital download.

The first single "It All Belongs to Me" will be released on February 6th. The single is a duet with R&B singer Brandy. I can't wait to the duet, I want to see if it matches up to the 1998 hit "The Boy Is Mine". The album has received its second push back, usually that's not a good sign. I'm a little worried that it won't be as successful as "Still Standing".

David Guetta premiered the music video for his dance/pop single "Turn Me On" featuring Nicki Minaj. It's the third single for Guetta's fifth studio album "Nothing But The Beat". The song is currently at #1 on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Songs chart. It peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 making Nicki's second highest-charting single following "Super Bass" and Britney Spears "Till the World Ends (Remix)", which both peaked at #3. Compared to "Stupid Hoe", this is much hotter and easier to listen to.

The video was directed by Sanji (Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Lopez). The music video has an high-tech theme, it had some great graphics which made it enjoyable to watch. Check out the video, after the jump.

Miryo releases horror theme teaser for solo debut

Following the release of her first teaser featuring SNSD's Sunny, Miryo returned with another teaser that looks like it came right out of the horror film. While you watch, three captions written in blood appears saying the following: "She has lost her mind", "Death begins with her", and "She is watching everything".

We're just a day away from the release of her solo debut album "MIRYO aka JOHONEY". Miryo did have a hand in writing the lyrics and also participated in the production of the album. At time I trying think what could possibly be the concept for this project, so far we've gotten two competely different teasers. Check out the latest teaser and also take a peek at the first one, after the jump.

Machine Gun Kelly talks about his rise to fame

Machine Gun Kelly recently sat down in a interview with VEVO News. He talked about battle rapping at the age 14 and creating his first track, "Get Your Walk On" which states was terrible. At the age of 19, he was able to find a path that best fits him. He said: "I was trying to find myself at first, you know. I started rapping about killing people and all the typical sh*t you would do in hip-hop because that’s what you think you’re supposed to say because that’s when gangsta rap was huge".

Last year he signed a major recording contract with Bad Boy Records. Wasn't feeling that all at first, Diddy doesn't have the best reputation when it comes to pushing some of his artists (Cheri Dennis, Jordan McCoy). I though it was going to take forever (like up to 2-3 years) for him to officially release some material and I was wrong. The first single "Wild Boy" featuring Waka Flocka is slowly heating up the charts. Me personality I can't stand Waka, but I'll admit he delivered a good rap verse. Check out the interview, after the jump.

New Music: Yuna - Live Your Life

Buy Yuna - "Live Your Life" [Single] - HERE

Malaysian singer/songwriter Yuna released the first single for her upcoming self-titled album. The track is titled "Live Your Life" was produced by Pharrell Williams and has that Neptunes-produced vibe. Her voice is sensual and unique. I don't like a lot of Pharrell's music that he's produced, this I like. The drums, guitar, every single detail in the song sounds great.

The song is out now on iTunes, you listen to it below. Yuna's anticipated album is due out this Spring.

Leona Lewis third album "Glassheart" delayed again

Leona Lewis has pushed back the release of her third studio album "Glassheart" once again, to a new date November 26th. Head over to online retailer Amazon, you can see the new official release date. The LP was originally last summer (2011), but it was pushed back to March 2012. This is the second push back for the project. After the bad news, she took to twitter to address it. Leona wrote: "Hey guys, I know lots of you are asking about the release of "Glassheart". I'm just recording and putting the finishing touches on my record now. As soon as it's ready it will be coming your way!".

One thing I don't understand, why does she need an additional 9 months to re-work her album. In a way, you can tell that their is some issues with the direction of the music. I want her to give me more music like her debut album "Spirit" but with a little edge to it. Wasn't too satisfied with her sophomore album "Echo", so it'll be interesting to see what she's going to bring to the table with her upcoming effort.

Six Bomb release debut mini-album "Six Bomb 1st Mini-Album"

Jang Entertainment's new six member girl group, Six Bomb has released their debut mini-album "Six Bomb First Mini Album" along with the music video for their title track, "Chicky Chicky Bomb". The group consists of members: Hyejin (Leader), Subin, Nabi, Jiwoo, Euihyun, and Youngji. The group consist of 6 members, but they had shoot the music video and start promoting as a 5-member group due to Subin's leg injury.

Their debut EP has been getting mixed reviews, possibly more negative than positive. I liked what I heard but it lacks in quality. The music video for the title track looked way too simple and cheap. Like I said before, they danced in front of a green screen the whole time. The choreography itself wasn't anything memorable. A lot of people are saying Six Bomb will end up disappearing soon, that could very well be true. I won't give up on them yet tho.

Check out some select tracks from their album, after the jump.

Video Premiere: Velvet - Love Struck

Buy Velvet - "Love Struck" [Single] - HERE (SE)/HERE (NO)

Swedish dance-pop singer Velvet premiered the music video for her new single called "Love Struck". The single was released in Sweden September 20th. I'll be included on her third untitled studio album to be released mid-2012. The track reminds me of Usher's "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love Again", but it doesn't disappoint.

Check out the music video below.

SNIPPET: Cassie - King Of Hearts (Demo)

Bad Boy artist Cassie has wanted over six years to release a album. Didn't think it will ever happen, but 2012 might be her luck. It looks like "Electro Love" (if she's hasn't re-titled it) could see the light of day. The model/singer revealed that her new single "King of Hearts" will be released sometime in 2012.

The track was produced by J2, listen to the demo below. Also check out the awesome trailer for the music video.

Video Premiere: Six Bomb - Chicky Chicky Bomb

Jang Entertainment's new girl group Six Bomb released their new music video for their title track, "Chicky Chicky Bomb". The group consists of members Hyejin (Leader), Subin, Nabi, Jiwoo, Euihyun, and Youngji. In several news reports of Subin and Girls' Generation member YoonA being good friends. The song is catchy, but the music video looks cheap. It looks like they, danced in front of a green scene the whole time.

Check out their debut music video, after the jump.

Miryo reveals image teasers for debut solo album

Miryo from Brown Eyed Girls will official be releasing her first solo album. Nega Network revealed two sets of teaser images. The album title of the album is "Miryo aka Johoney". The  concept for images look though out, I'm sure it shows different sides of her. Miryo co-produced the tracks, she also had creative control over the musical direction of the new album.

Miryo's solo album is available for pre-orders. It will be released on February 1st. Check out the rest of the images, after the jump.

Carrie Underwood announces first single "Good Girl" from fourth album

Singer/songwriter Carrie Underwood announced that her new single titled "Good Girl", which will serve the first official single from her highly-anticipated fourth studio album due out this spring. The song will be released to country radio on February 23rd.

Their was an official video message released from Carrie. She basically talks briefly about the new song and said: "I cannot wait for you guys to hear it." Carrie wrote the track with Chris DeStefano and Ashley Gorley and it was produced by long-time collaborator Mark Bright. Her recent hit single is a duet with Brad Paisley titled "Remind Me". The last song released before that was "Mama's Song" from her platinum selling album "Play On", which I loved. That album was a masterpiece, so I'm looking forward to seeing what she has that's going to top it. I totally ready for new music from Carrie, haven't really been checking up on her lately so, this was a surprise to me.

Dal★Shabet releases 4th mini-album "Hit U"

Buy DalShabet - "Hit U" [EP] - HERE

Korean girl group DalShabet have released with their 4th mini album, "Hit U". The mini album has a total of six tracks, two being remixes. Their currently promoting the title "Hit U" as their main song. The girls has been on the scene for over a year and their already on the 4th mini-album. They traded the cute/pretty themes, for a more dark concept. The music video for "Hit U" came out yesterday and proved to be very edgy.

Check out all the tracks for "Hit U", after the jump. You can purchase the album here at Yesasia.

Video Premiere: Kelly Rowland - Keep It Between Us

Kelly Rowland has premiered the music video for "Keep It Between Us", its the latest single from her third solo album "Here I Am". The video was shot back in November 2011. It's almost February and now its being released, don't get it.

"Keep It Between Us" is one of the best ballads on "Here I Am". Everything she released after "Motivation" was not anything I look at twice. "Lay It On Me" was just OK and "Down For Whatever" the song itself sucked, the video was a waste. This however is a good R&B song and can achieve the same success that "Motivation" had. The video features actor Lance Gross as her love interest. It shows them having a good time in Paris. I'm satisfied with it, it captured what the song about. Check it out, after the jump.

New Music: Chris Brown - Turn Up The Music

Chris Brown debuted the second single "Turn Up The Music" from upcoming fifth studio album "Fortune". The party anthem was written and produced by The Underdogs. "Turn Up The Music" is nice, but its what I kinda expected from him, especially if you been hearing the type of music he's making lately. Its a bit generic, the auto-tune is unnecessary.

Not doubting it won't be a hit, because I pretty sure the radios going to eat it up. The song will be available on iTunes February 14th. Listen to it below.

Video Premiere: Dal★Shabet - Hit U (Feat. Bigtone)

Korean girl group DalShabet has released their new music video for the title track "Hit U" from their fourth mini album also titled "Hit U".

The song has mix of hip hop and rock. "Hit U" is unique, its something very different from their previous tracks. "Supa Dupa Diva", "Pink Rocket", and "Bling Bling" had a much more of a cute/girly side. Both the song and the image is a big change, but for the better. Check out the video, after the jump.

Ashanti releases new promo pic + previews new tracks

Ashanti unveiled new promo picture and did a Ustream session couple nights ago. She treated fans to some snippets from her upcoming new album. Between all the random talking and fooling around, Ashanti played previews of the tracks: "She Can't", "Blow", "Paradise" and more. She brought up some details on the music video for her current single, "The Woman You Love". I'll be filmed later this week in in Los Angeles and released in February. She's looking to drop the album late spring/early summer.

Her latest single "The Woman You Love" was sent to radio on January 23rd and reportedly hasn't sold that much on iTunes. I'm looking forward to Ashanti's new project, hopefully the album's promotion is planned out carefully because it could easily fall though the cracks. Check out the Ustream session, after the jump.

Album Review: Joe Jonas - Fastlife

Joe Jonas released his first solo debut album on October 11, 2011. When I heard about the news of Joe's solo project, I wasn't really exited. Wasn't a fan of the Jonas Brothers, but I knew Joe was the best looking and had the best voice out of the other two. After his brother Nick went solo, you kinda knew in the back of your mind he would too.

He managed to Britney Spears collaborator Danja, Rob Knox, Chris Brown/Kevin McCall as writers, and many more. Check out the review, after the jump.

Buy Adam Lambert - "Better Than I Know Myself" [Single] - HERE

American Idol alumni Adam Lambert has revealed the album cover his highly-anticipated sophomore album titled "Trespassing", the follow-up to his debut album "For Your Entertainment", which sold over a million copies. The album features the top writers and producers  from hit-makers like Claude Kelly, Benny Blanco, Pharrell, Dr.Luke, Bonnie McKee, Nile Rodgers, Sam Sparro, Bruno Mars, Nikka Costa and BC Jean. His first single "Better Than I Know Myself" is doing well, it debuted at #76 on the Billboard Hot 100 and likely to go higher within the next couple of weeks.

Adam executive produced the album and described it as: "an exciting journey through the past two years of my life. It's been a transformative period and I really wanted to make music from what I've experienced. All these songs honestly explore the ups and downs of my reality". Compared to the first single from his last album, it was gimmicky and sounded like regular pop song. This track is beautiful and has meaning to it. The vocal delivery from Adam is outstanding.

If  their more great songs on "Trespassing" like "Better Than I Know Myself" than I'm diffenetly  going to check this album out. His sophomore will hit stores on March 20th. The premiere of music video for the first single will come out soon. Listen to the track, after the jump.

SNIPPET: Diana Vickers - Boy in Paris

English singer-songwriter Diana Vickers revealed a snippet of a new track, she's working on. Diana has already shared "Music To Make The Boys Cry", "Kiss Of A Bullet" and now a snippet of "Boy in Paris". The clip is over a minute long and could possibly be on her upcoming album.

She said: "What I love about it is that it reminds me of a kind of early Eurythmics sound with all the dark synyths but as a package is also a big pop song. I've worked with David Gamson on a lot of the album and I think this song gives a real flavour of where I’ve gone sonically with my new music.

"The song has a big connection with me, as I wrote it on true events. Paris has been a big part of my year this year on a lot of levels and I can say that I have truly fallen head over heels for the place. In fact, I just came back from Paris last week shooting the album and single shots, and I can honestly say it was the best shoot I ever done on every level."

Check out the snippet below, via soundcloud.

New Music: Neon Hitch - Fuck U Betta

British singer-songwriter Neon Hitch premiered her new single titled "Fuck U Betta", from her upcoming debut album "Beg, Borrow and Steal" due out earlier this year. The pop track was produced by Benny Blanco, the lyrics are very explicit and should be attention grabbing. "She's prettier than I'll ever be/got yourself a beauty queen, yeah/But there's somethin I gotta say/she can fuck you good, bet I can fuck you better". The electro beat, the dub-step and the explicit lyrics makes up her unique style.

Neon Hitch is a out of the box type of artist, she flaunts whatever she has and doesn't care what people think. The pop star shot a music video for the sexy song, be sure to look out for it. Listen to the track below.

Video Premiere: Aura Dione - Geronimo

Buy Aura Dione - "Geronimo (Jost & Damien Radio Mix)" [Single] - HERE (DK)
Buy Aura Dione - "Before The Dinosaurs" [Album] - HERE (DK)

Danish singer-songwriter Aura Dione premiered the music video for her hit single "Geronimo". The extremely catchy track is seriously a MUST-HEAR. Unfortunately the song has only reached a certain amount of audiences, it been released in Denmark, Germany, Austria, Sweden and select others. "Geronimo" came out in mid 2011 and was the first single from her sophomore album "Before The Dinosaurs" out now in select countries. I stumbled across the song late last year, but never gotten around to listen to it until now.

"Geronimo" could be massive, with the right moves from the record label (Island, Universal) and some great promotional tactics. The song is very addictive, the infectious melody's, the slow and uptempo moments, synth production, and most importantly the catchiest part "Ge-ge-e jo jo uh lala hmm let's go!". The music video was appealing and enjoyable. *fingers crossed* this song and the album gets an international release. Aura Dione her music could get huge. Listen to the track and check out the video, after the jump.

New Pussycat Doll member Lauren Bennett release debut solo single "I Wish I Wish"

Buy Lauren Bennett - "I Wish I Wish" [Single] - HERE

In the Paradiso Girls, Lauren Bennett's talent didn't shine though like I wanted it to. She became a little more known for being featured on one of the biggest hits of 2011, LMFAO's hit single "Party Rock Anthem". Lauren has also been confirmed to be a new member of the reformation of the Pussycat Dolls, the whole group will be revealed in February. In the meantime, she's gone solo to release a debut solo track titled "I Wish I Wish".

Its a let's go out this weekend and have a good time song. Nothing great or horrible. Check it out below.

Listen to: Rebecca Ferguson "Too Good To Lose" remixes

Former X Factor UK finalist Rebecca Ferguson is set to release her new single, "Too Good To Lose" on February 26th. The track is from her debut album "Heaven" and it's bit more uptempo compared to her last hit "Nothing's Real But Love". Two remixes were released, Seamus Haij remix produced by Seamus Haij and the Dukebox remix.

Both gives you a club experience and could get to the top club charts. You can listen and stream below.

The track is the first release from her debut EP titled "Proclamation". It was produced by The Globetrakkers and written by Metal Roze's Pooh. I like song, but I'm crazy about it. With that voice, I know she can produce some monster hits. In the group, she was always my favorite.

I'm sure Lyndriette is going to come with more music in 2012. Listen to "Addiction" below.

Video Premiere: Gabriella Cilmi - Vicious Love

Australian singer-songwriter Gabriella Cilmi is currently working in her third studio album, scheduled to be released in mid-2012.

The singer rose to stardom with her 2008 with her hit "Sweet About Me", which became an international success along with her debut album "Lessons To Be Learned". In 2010 she released her second album titled "Ten", it struggled to find success. She admitted recently that the poor reception of her last album quote: "was an awakening for me to realise the position I am in to make the record that I want to make and just stand up for myself".

Here is her new music video "Vicious Love", a new track off her forthcoming third album. The video was directed by Sam Wrench. The song has a blues sound, very different style of music she's doing compared to the disco/electro/pop vibe from "Ten".

Nicki Minaj delays release of "Roman Reloaded" to April

Following the release of that horrible ass music video "Stupid Hoe" video, Nicki Minaj's sophomore album "Pink Friday: Roman Reload" has been official delayed. The original date was February 14th, now 'Roman Reload' will now hit stores on April 3rd. Singles released from LP so far are the buzz single "Roman in Moscow", "Stupid Hoe" and the soon to be released single "Va Va Voom".

Good thing it got pushed back, releasing crappy singles is not going to make fans buy the album. "Roman in Moscow" and "Stupid Hoe" received negative responses, also wasn't a commercial success like "Super Bass".

Video Premiere: Far East Movement - Jello (Feat. Rye Rye)

Buy Far East Movement - "Jello (Feat. Rye Rye)" [Single] - HERE

Electro-hip hop group, Far East Movement, have released the music video for their new single, "Jello" featuring Rye Rye. "Jello" is from the group's upcoming album, "Dirty Bass" due out later this year. "Dirty Bass" is the follow-up to their debut album "Free Wired", which featured the hits "Like A G6" and "Rocketeer" featuring Ryan Tedder.

The video was directed by Matt Alonzo (Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy), it's them try to make a boring party into a good one. Theirs something that bugs me about the song, it not the guys. Its Rye Rye, when ever she came in with her part, it was very annoying. This will probably be their "Like a G6" for 2012. Check out the video, after the jump.

Adam performed his new single the Dr-Luke-produced single "Better Than I Know Myself". He absolutely killed that performance. When he sung it live for the first time, that was first time that I listening to it. I hope the song goes to the top of the charts. He also sat down with Ellen for a chat. They discussed upcoming album "Trespassing", his upcoming birthday day, and the conversation got into Adam and his boyfriend's bar brawl in Finland earlier this year. On (Monday) January 16th boy band Big Time Rush stopped by 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' to do promo. The group took the stage to perform their pop hit Ryan Tedder produced track "Music Sounds Better With U". Its the lead single from the BTR second studio album "Elevate", in stores now. They also sat down for a brief interview with Ellen. Subjects brought up were their Nickelodeon TV show, tickets for their 2012 US concert tour selling out in less than a day, a upcoming movie, and more.

I only like about one or maybe two songs from them, so I can't say I'm a huge fan, but my little sister sure is. The performance was a surprise to me because I always though they lip synced everything at a live events, TV performances and etc. Guess they actually can carry a tune singing live. Check out both the performance and interview, after the jump.

Listen to: Skylar Grey's new EP "The Buried Sessions"

Buy Skylar Grey "The Buried Sessions" [EP] - HERE

Singer-songwriter Skylar Grey started her year with a release her brand new EP "The Buried Sessions". It was released though KIDinaKORNER Records and Interscope Records on (Tuesday) January 17th. Before giving fans her debut album "Invinsible", the EP that's out now contains solo renditions of some of the hits she has penned for other artists including: "Love the Way You Lie" (recorded by Eminem and Rihanna), "Coming Home" (recorded by Diddy - Dirty Money) and "Words" (recorded by Lupe Fiasco).

Syklar has managed to write several hits for other artists, but hasn't yet to capture the audience attention with her own material. This proves she has a lot to offer to the world. On all three tracks, she gives a raw, beautiful and bit haunting feeling. Love Rihanna's version of "Love the Way You Lie", vocally Skylar's was much better. Listen to all of them below.

Video Premiere: Estelle - Thank You

Buy Estelle - "Thank You" [Single] - HERE

British singer Estelle releases the video to her emotional driven ballad "Thank You". In the Iren Sheffield-directed visual, actor Tracey Dukes plays her love interest. "Thank You" is the second single from her third album "All of Me". The video fits with the song and the story line brought it even more to life. When she realizes that she's being cheated on, she kicks him to the curb, in the right way. Looks like Estelle is leaving the Dance/Pop world behind and going on to R&B, great move.

The album "All of Me" will contributions from Rick Ross, Akon, Jerry 'Wonda' Duplessis, Arden 'Keyz' Altino and Akene 'The Champ' Dunkley. It's due out in stores on February 28th. Check out the video, after the jump.

4minute to make group comeback this February

K-Pop girl group 4Minute are confirmed to make their official comeback this February. A representative from the girls agency Cube Entertainment informed OSEN: "We are running a bit late on schedule, so we would have to push back 4minute's January comeback to some time in the middle of February. The girls are working hard in preparation for their comeback". While dominating the music industry as a group, each of the members are also participating other activities. HyunA released a successful solo EP "Bubble Pop" and her most recent collaboration apart of a sub-unit Trouble Maker with BEAST's Hyunseung, which also proved to be a major hit. Jiyoon showcased  her powerful performances on KBS's "Immortal Song 2" and the leader Jihyun started acting in MBC's "A Thousand Kisses" drama.

4minute has always had very unique music and performances, up until they'd released their new Japanese single "Ready Go" in December 2011. The rock genre, in my opinion doesn't fit with this group. So I hope their comeback doesn't sound anywhere near that. Regardless I'm exited to see what their going to release as the first single.

Video Premiere: Nicki Minaj - Stupid Hoe

Buy Nicki Minaj - "Stupid Hoe" [Single] - HERE

Young Money rapper Nicki Minaj premiered the music video for her single "Stupid Hoe" from her upcoming re-release of her debut album titled "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded". I'll be released on February 14th. Can't believe Hype Williams had the nerve to direct this stupid shit. Though out the whole video, I was thinking about her alt egos and how they are going to be showcased even more this year. You thought last year was bad, I can only imagine, because that was a whole bunch of craziness. As for the song itself, its not going to take a rocket scientist to realize this is trash, with a capital T. Compared to some of the good stuff put out last year, she can do a hell of a lot better.

Ms. Minaj is expected to perform at the 2012 Grammy Awards on February 12th. Who knows what she's going to perform, let's hope its not this because she'll literally be a "Stupid Hoe" for doing that. Check out the video, after the jump.

Katy Perry releases yet another version of "The One That Got Away (Acoustic)"

Buy Katy Perry - "The One That Got Away (Acoustic)" [Single] - HERE

In the last and I hope final attempt (because this is getting ridiculous) to get Katy Perry's latest single "The One That Got Away" to be the sixth #1 single from sophomore album "Teenage Dream" and to be the first female artist in music history to achieve that. When the B.o.B remix came out I didn't listen it, not until now and it's fucking terrible. An official acoustic version came out and its available on iTunes for only 99 cents. Its was produced by Jon Brion (Fiona Apple, Kanye West). The vocals seemed re-recorded and had a soothing feeling. I love the album version of the song, but this instrumental is more toned down and sounds warm.

Bottom line, the remix is good, but Katy's label Capital Records really needs to stop these clearly despite attempts to her to #1. It's too late and its not going to happen. "The One That Got Away" highest peak on the Billboard Hot 100 was #3, its currently at #6. The single has stalled on the charts, releasing more versions and remixes are pointless. Check it out the acoustic version, after the jump.

Video Premiere: Emeli Sandé - Next To Me

Scottish R&B singer/songwriter Emeli Sandé premiered the music video for her official third single titled "Next To Me". The single is from her upcoming debut album "Our Version of Events". The video simple but gorgeous. The new single "Next To Me" will be available on iTunes a week before the album on February 6th.

Her highly anticipated debut album "Our Version of Events" will drop February 13th. Check out the video, after the jump.

New Music: Amber Rose - Fame (Feat. Wiz Khalifa)

American model, actress, and socialite Amber Rose is branching out into music industry. She premiered her debut single called "Fame" featuring her current boyfriend, rapper Wiz Khalifa, on PerezHilton.com. I knew who Amber was, I just was never interested in her.

Do I love it? not that much. I don't see any actual vocal potential in her voice. She's singing over an electro-beat, followed by a rap verse by Wiz Khalifa. If you were to mix Cassie's voice with, maybe Paris Hilton's voice this is the outcome you will get. Some people had the nerve to say that Kim Kardashian's horrible  debut single "Jam" was better than Amber's song. Major disagreement on that, I may not like song too much, but I would rather listen to this than "Jam". Overall "Fame" has a nice message, can't see it going mainstream though. Listen to it below.

Lana Del Rey fails to impress on SNL debut

Lana Del Rey made her debut US television debut on SNL not too long ago. Her debut was anticipated by many fans much by fans, but sadly Lana disappointed. She performed her hit singles "Video Games" and "Blue Jeans", she looked stunning but when it came to Lama's vocal performance, it was beyond dull. I could hear some pitchness and her voice was shaky when she began to sing. Just by judging by those performances, their were a lot of nerves. Their was no stage presence at all.

She received lots of negative criticism and was dubbed one of the worst performances in 'Saturday Night Live' history. For a first listener, I like her music. Let's hope this doesn't affect her album sales. Her debut album "Born to Die" hit stores January 31st. Check out both performances, after the jump.
